Growing up with baby colic!!

When I was younger I did some baby sitting for a lady whose daughter was about 7 months old. She was a good friend of the family and at times was a great relief for to since we lived in a small town I liked to get away. Anyway this baby whose name was Samantha had a severe case of baby colic and her mother being a single working mother could not stay up all night with Sam (which we called her) so mom hired me to take care of Sam so she could sleep. Night after night I listened to screaming baby and nothing I could do seemed to make her very happy.
